Investment Professional

As an Investment Professional, Deborah is very dedicated to giving clients the best investment experience possible. There are plenty of things in life to spend time worrying about,  so for clients she works very hard to make sure their investments are the last on that worry list. She also develops and manages retirement planning models with realistic expectations so clients may have a peace of mind when planning for their futures.

Deborah grew up in the wonderful little town of Marion, Kentucky. After her completion of High School she attended and graduated from Murray State University with a Degree in Finance. She then moved to Memphis, Tennessee & began her Investment Career. Prior to Hal Otey Financial, Deborah got her start as an Investment Manager with midsized Financial Services Company in the Memphis Area. Then in October of 2007, Deborah joined the Hal Otey Team and has been an enthusiastic & loyal addition ever since.

Deborah loves to spend time with her family, staying very involved with her church, and giving back to her community. She is a member of the Alto section in the Bellevue Baptist Church Choir where she helps lead their congregation in worship & service to our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ. Deborah is also very involved in several Animal Rescue groups that service the Greater Memphis Area. She volunteers her time weekly to go walk & provide enrichment to the shelter dogs & cats of the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County, she helps in fundraising events for several different Rescue Organizations, and participates in Feral Cat -Trap, Neuter, & Release- efforts all across the Mid-South to help reduce feral colonies from growing & needed further support.
